What is Flow Theory? (Level 1)

There is a river flowing beside you... but actually you're in the river.

Are you:

  1. Swimming against the current
  2. Floating with the current
  3. Swimming with the current

Depending on what you are working on improving, you'll be in one of these three states. It could be that you've lived most of your life in a single state, but it is possible to change your situation.

When you're floating with the current, life is just happening around you, and you're 'going with the flow'.

When you're swimming against the current, it takes a lot of energy to get anywhere. Things are hard, it takes a lot of 'hard work' to accomplish anything. You may even celebrate how hard you need to work to achieve your results.

When you're swimming with the current, it's almost like magic is happening. Your movements are magnified by the power of the river.
