How can I win if this is as good as it gets?
When you've been pushing for results for a long time but just haven't been able to find the breakthrough, what if you are simply in a position where things are as good as they can be?
For example, if in your business your revenue has hit a plateau and you've been stuck there for years, and no matter what you try things just don't seem to change?
One thing you could try, instead of looking forward to growth and change is simply to accept what is and then see what you can do to optimize what you have right now.
Profitability is a great area to illustrate this idea.
Let's say that each month you are making $10,000 in revenue, but there's hardly any profit left over to make any difference in your life.
Instead of chasing more growth and constantly making changes to facilitate growth by selling more, if you instead focused on operational efficiency, that could be a viable pathway to getting more profit from your business, which may then in turn create the cash reserves needed to open new opportunities for your business.
When I ran this experiment in my own business many years ago, we were able to discover a 1700%, and yes, this isn't a typo - it was 1700%, improvement in the profitability of the business and completely changed the economics of the business for the owner.
And all of this was accomplished by simply accepting the current state of the business and then working to improve on what was already there, instead of focusing on what could be in the future.
What if the change you aspire for never happens? If the change never happens, is there still a way that you can win and accomplish what you want?
